1. Voluntary Participation & Assumption of Risk

• I understand that participation in this retreat is entirely voluntary and may involve physical, emotional, and psychological activities such as breathwork, cold immersion (ice bath), heat exposure (Temazcal), aquatic therapy (Janzu), guided hypnosis, and group ceremony.

• I acknowledge and accept that these activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to: dehydration, emotional catharsis, physical strain, nervous system activation, allergic reactions, or latent medical conditions becoming symptomatic.

• I hereby assume full responsibility for any and all risks associated with my participation.

• Attendees must behave respectfully toward all participants, staff, and presenters.
   

2. Medical Responsibility & Disclosure

• I certify that I am physically, mentally, and emotionally capable of participating in all retreat activities and have disclosed all relevant medical conditions, medications, and concerns through the provided health screening form.

• I understand that I am responsible for consulting a licensed medical professional regarding my fitness to participate, especially in heat and cold-related practices or altered state facilitation.
   

3. Substance Use Policy

• I understand that this retreat is a sober, plant-medicine-free space. I agree to refrain from the use of marijuana, psychedelics, or other psychoactive substances during the duration of the retreat. Failure to comply may result in removal from the retreat without refund.
   

4. Privacy, Phones & Community Respect

This is a sacred, shared space. I commit to respecting the vulnerability and boundaries of others. I agree to uphold the privacy and emotional safety of all retreat participants. I understand that:

• Recording is not permitted during any group sharing, integration, or emotional release sessions.

• Phone use is strongly discouraged during the retreat to support presence, nervous system regulation, and a distraction-free environment.

• If I choose to take personal photos, I agree to obtain clear verbal consent from anyone captured in the image before posting or sharing.
   

5. Personal Conduct & Responsibility

• I agree to respect the emotional and physical boundaries of others, uphold the confidentiality of group members, and communicate respectfully with facilitators and participants.

• I understand that any behavior deemed unsafe, disruptive, or disrespectful may result in my dismissal from the retreat at the sole discretion of the organizers, without refund.
   

6. Waiver of Liability & Release

• I, the undersigned, hereby release and discharge Your Sovereign Mind, LLC, its owners, facilitators, employees, volunteers, contractors, and affiliated venue staff from any and all claims, demands, damages, liabilities, or causes of action arising out of or connected with my participation in the retreat, including but not limited to injury, psychological distress, illness, loss, or property damage.

• This waiver includes any claims for negligence, accident, or personal injury and applies even if such claims arise from the negligence of the Retreat Organizers.

7. Photo & Media Consent 

• I understand that some portions of the retreat may be photographed or recorded by the organizers for promotional or educational use. Any such media will be captured in respectful, non-private moments. Recording (audio/video) by attendees is prohibited without explicit consent.

 

8. Acknowledgment

 

• By signing or submitting this form, I confirm that I have read, understood, and voluntarily agree to the terms above. I acknowledge that this release of liability shall be binding upon me, my heirs, legal representatives, and assigns.
